    Gourmet Distributions is a wholesale produce distributor. Its clients are restaurants in the Southeast. Its main marketing strategy was sending a traveling salesperson to visit potential clients throughout the Southeast. This was a costly and time-consuming hit or miss strategy.

    A targeted direct-mail marketing campaign was created. Informative flyers were created to be sent to restaurants along already established delivery routes. The campaign was intended to create interest in Gourmet Distributions allowing the traveling salesperson to focus his efforts on potential clients that expressed interest in the direct-mail campaign. The effect was to cut travel costs for the salesman as well as avoid the costly creation of new routes to service a few clients by creating more clients in concentrated areas.

For marketing and work flow efficiency purposes, it was advised that Oil Butler create a website providing information to potential clients and scheduling and payment options for current clients. Social Media and other web services were recommended to drive traffic to the website. A targeted direct mail marketing strategy in concentrated residential areas was recommended to increase residential clients. Business partnerships were recommended to increase commercial clients.

    The Art of Soccer Academy is an organization created to provide student-athletes a safe constructive soccer and educational environment in the southwest Atlanta area. They were in need of a innovative strategy to effectively provide resources to children 10 - 15 years old surrounding age specific soccer training and supplemental educational activities. After a few months of requirements gathering and research Lucid Strategies was able to produce an annual timeline of events and activities including clinics for coaching, educational field trips, interstate soccer tournaments and education/technology camps which provide the children opportunities to improve as a student-athletes while keeping cost affordable for child participation and company management.

    Lucid Strategies has continued to work with the Art of Soccer Academy pro-bono to identify potential partnerships for the upcoming year in order to increase the capacity and reach of the Art of Soccer Academy.
